308 – Shep Hyken (Customer Service Expert)
Shep Hyken is a Customer Service and Experience Expert as well as the Chief Amazement Officer of Shep Presentations.
I’ve been a big fan of Shep’s books for a while now and use a lot of his teachings to improve the way we run our band LORD. In particular, how we interact with our friends (fans!) and providing them with as many reasons, separate to the music itself, to keep coming back and interact with us.
This episode is just a quick introduction into the world of Shep, where we start to draw some links between great customer service and how it can be utilised in the music industry. I hope it sparks some interest for those out there in bands or just anyone simply wanting to improve their people skills. A bit of self development never hurt anybody.
